Standard rooms are small Hyatt style – nice, but nothing special, and you must book a suite to get a balcony. The public areas, however, are spectacular. The best on the island. And, the suites range from excellent to incredible. If you go for the Governor’s Suite on the restricted ninth floor, you’ll get a whirlpool tub, fitness equipment, and large topof- the-resort balconies on two sides, with views of both the white-sand beach and the multi-level pool. No money or imagination were spared on landscaping, and the lush grounds include towering cacti, blooming bougainvillea, and a fish-stocked lagoon. Camp Hyatt occupies kids three to 12 years of age with cooking lessons, storytelling, and outdoor activities.
